The role of an usher is multifaceted and essential for the smooth functioning of worship services. Ushers are responsible for:

- Collecting offerings: They facilitate the collection of the offering, ensuring it is handled with integrity and respect.

- Providing information: They offer literature and other information about the church and its services.
- Managing emergencies: Ushers are trained to handle emergencies, ensuring the safety and order of the congregation.
